Select Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) Civic/CRX models have a slightly different front end. Notice the hood is convex or 'cowl' style and the headlights are longer and thinner than the Civic/CRX's in North America. Also, the upper bumper skirt (white body part pictured) is shaped differently to accomodate the changes. Not pictured is the center core support which places the hood release bracket approximately 20mm forward.
JDM hoods like this are NOT exclusively 'SiR'. The vacuum routing diagram decal on the under side of my hood indicates it came off of a JDM 25X (a D15B dual carb EF2). |

As you can see, the USDM bumper fits with these parts. If your short on funds, or can't find a JDM front bumper (like me) just use your bumper.
